World #2 Deployment+ Patch Notes: 26/11/24

Message Centre Upgrade - Alliances
- On the right hand corner you can now create a new Alliance and view the lobby of any Alliance that you are currently a member of.
- Alliance leaders can now promote members into officers who will gain access to an officer only lobby. Officers can invite or kick regular members.
- We've added an additional 'diplomacy' lobby that will display all recent conversations in a single location for easy tracking.
General
- Clicking on your profile (character portrait) now has an edit button that will allow you to edit the names of your colonies, bio and title.
- You can now click on any colony coordinates listed within profiles to jump the camera to their respective positions on the world map.
- We've fixed several shader issues and added missing villagers on a number of different faction colony scenes.
- Refined many of the camera 'fly to' paths for buildings in the settlement scenes. Improved the overall framing of many building when interacted with.
- Resolved instances of character customisation preferences not being saved and an animation issue with certain Founder's cosmetics.
Gameplay
- Recruiting colony units will now increase each subsequent build time by 1 hour. You can train multiple colony units across different bases, however the timer will carry over. We expect this to reduce the extreme base expansion rates as seen mid-late game in World #1. We'll continue to watch this!
- We're trialling faster building times to help the pace of the early game. The base world speed is still the same as World #1 so resources, travel and recruitment times are unaffected. We have another major gameplay tuning pass planned for during the week to address excess end game resources. More to come on this soon.
Known Issues
- Uploaded Alliance graphics are not being displayed. We are working to deploy a hotfix for this ASAP.
- Direct messages sent via diplomacy are sometimes being duplicated. We are working to deploy a hotfix for this ASAP.
- Messages typed inside an alliance lobby appear in the chat overlay. This is a display issue only and are not actually being sent. We will hotfix this shortly.
