Patch Notes: 24/1/25
Cutting it fine this week - as usual we're always trying to squeeze in that extra last feature before we pull the trigger on the patch notes! I'll keep this one short and to the point -> we're launching the next World with an experimental new system using the Flurry World pacing 3 days ago.

Gameplay
Smart Select + Army Preview
While selecting units inside the War Room you can now hover over the slider to see a preview of your army. This preview reflects how the units will appear at the start of battle and shows their combined health pools, combat power and experience. The game will always select the healthiest units first allowing you to carefully tune your deployment to keep the vulnerable resting at home. This functionality has been extended into the new Army Overlay so players can see the condition of their defending forces.

General & Fixes
- Healing rate has been boosted on Speed/Flurry based Worlds. Ticks will now occur every 30 mins to 1 hour depending on unit type.
- Players can no longer see incoming espionage attempts.
- Beginner Protection reduced to 12 hours on Speed/Flurry based Worlds.
- Trying to attack a Beginner Protected player will now display the protection timer duration inside the notice message.
- The game will now remember the player's preference of open or closed state for the Army and Mission Overlays.
- The player's resize preferences for the chat overlay will now also be remembered. It will not close when opening the Comms Centre.
- The player's last visited settlement will now be remembered between game session.
- Resolved layering issue causing the World Map button to be difficult to click while the Mission Overlay was open.
- Resized several of the primary UIs for consistency and to prevent the new Army Overlay from overlapping.
- Corrected a number of typos.
- Fixed the prompt for recalling guards appearing in the wrong scene when using the mission list from outside the War Room.
- Fixed an issue causing Beginner Protection to prevent players from sending missions to their own settlements.
- Fixed the recruitment nameplate overlays from appearing when visiting other settlements.
- Fixed an issue causing lighting from the World Map to bleed into the battle reports.
